I was searching for a good
audio recording and editing application, and I stumbled on this application which promises to answer everyone's need for an open source audio recording and editing program. Aptly named Reborn, the developers of this application may very well be doomed just by using the tag Reborn as the program's name. It makes use of the advantages brought by open source software development, but it just comes shorthanded in giving justice to its name!
I downloaded this program, full of hope, in a jiffy with my
fast internet connection. If I had a slow internet connection, I would be bombarding the developers of this program with a lot of hatemail which would give them a piece of my mind! You see, this program is an open source version counterpart of the Mac-based and Windows-based emulation program for the most popular synthesizers in the market. Its developer's description of the program stated that it had a few additions to its roster, such as various editing functions and effects. But hey, I think being reborn has a whole lot of difference from what I have seen as the sorry excuse for the additions this program holds. In relation to the reborn concept, that is. Well, specially now that I have learned that the development of this program has been halted because of certain legalities! Talk about being reborn, having no difference from your prior state, then dying rather unexpectedly, and unpurposefully, that is!
