Modern information technology has converged entertainment with functionality and usability. First came the video CD format, which showcased digital video in small packages. But, the issues regarding quality was continually addressed from the creation of the VCD format. Thus emerged the DVD format. Now, this latter format integrated interactivity with quality videos. Plus, a number of videos can fit into a DVD, thus making it easier to carry around. But, the VCD users of the world began to clamor for more functions on their VCDs. Then, the AVCD was born.
On this post, I will give you a very useful tip on what steps to take in creating and burning AVCDs. I'm afraid you won't find an AVCD authoring tool in the market, so it would do you good to listen first and try it out later. Well, what you would be needing here are two applications, a CD writer, and the guidelines I have written below.
First, go get the free version of the
VCDEasy program from the internet. Good luck searching for it, though. Then, acquire an evaluation version of Fireburner, regardless of version. But do download the latest version of Fireburner, since the available version of this application is, of course, the latest version. Then, create a standard VCD using VCDEasy and burn it on a BIN image file with a cue sheet. Finally, load the created cue sheet on Fireburner, add the digital audio files you want, and burn it directly on a compatible CD. There are no special requirements for the blank CDs to use, for it only needs to be compatible with your writer.
